As a manufacture we are pleased to provide written confirmation that it is safe, when under construction correctly, to “tie off” to our Ringscaff and Duralock System Scaffolding .This conformation reduces the requirement for secondary tie off points, such as permanent structures, wire cables or fall arrest products.
In support of our sales and rental programs in the USA we can provide “competent training certification”. This ten-hour course, offered in conjunction with the Scaffold Training Institute, ensures that our clients are in compliance with OSHA requirements and that their employees are aware of the “risks and requirements” of scaffolding products and erecting and dismantling of OSHA compliant temporary access platforms.
Scaffolding Hazard Awareness programs are also offered addressing the handling and movement of scaffolding equipment, basic “what to look for” in products and scaffolding platforms and the do’s and don’ts of scaffold usage. This four-hour course is directed at the scaffold user, not builder and is designed to enforce and support existing good practices and the prevention of incorrect usage.
Our western facilities are approved CORE certified members which is a certificate of recognition for safety excellence recognized in Alberta.
Scafom facilities in Western Canada are approved and awarded the certificate of recognition (COR) for developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety program that meets established safety standards. Internally Scafom has ongoing site/facility audits, tool-box talks, safety meetings, risk assessments, increases awareness to eliminate & achieve the zero injury workplace. These programs are transparent throughout the company and are constantly measured and reviewed.
Scafom is also a proud supplier of scaffold safety covers and LED lighting; these “Hi-Viz’ reflective covers and lights enhance safety and reduce the number of recordable incidents in workplaces by providing the high visibility to exposed blunt edges of scaffolding for users, general public and erectors. Both foot and motorized traffic viability is greatly enhanced by flashing LED lighting, be it on a busy street or in the confinements of an industrial facility.
